What We Offer at
Ballaminers House
We want our guests to enjoy their stay with us and place a high importance on relaxation and well being. Guests have often commented on the warm inviting atmosphere of our house and it's tranquility.

Ballaminers House offers very comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation of a high standard furnished with inherited family Antique and old pine furniture with stylish bedrooms, generously comfortable beds and relaxing bathrooms in a private home.

The house is surrounded by our Cornish garden of approximately one acre in which guests might like to enjoy a cream tea or perhaps catch up on that book they have been meaning to read. Aswell as the usual treats we have thought of little extras like bottled Cornish water and fruit basket in the bedrooms and Duchy of Cornwall products in the bathrooms.

There's a guest sitting room with flat screen television and a selection of dvd's, backgammon board, scrabble and some interesting books to read. We very much like to support local trade wherever possible and offer suppers and dinners using fresh Organic and local produce and have a licence too ( please order in advance). We also like to think ' green' and do our bit for the environment by re cycling as much as we can on a regular basis.

Both David and I are busy with other commitments during the day and kindly ask guests to vacate the house by 10.30am during their stay. The house is open again at 4.30pm. We look forward to meeting you.

Tariff, Rates and Descriptions

Double Occupancy Rate
£85.00 per room per night (£42.50 per person) to include full English breakfast.

Twin £70.00 per room per night (£35.00 per person) to include full English breakfast.
(Single supplement of £20.00)

Single Occupancy Rate £80.00 during peak holiday times,
during less busy months £55.00 per night. To include full English breakfast.

Guests are requested to arrive after 4.30pm (NOT BEFORE PLEASE) and no later than 7.30pm please unless otherwise arranged. Guests are asked to leave by 10.30am on the morning of departure.

In the event of cancellation, the deposit will be refunded only if the accommodation can be re-let. If we are unable to find an occupant, we (Ballaminers House), reserve the right to be credited 2/3 of the total cost of the booking. Cancellation of bookings made 24 hours or less prior to the date of arrival are subject to full payment of the booking ( sorry but no exceptions can be made). We advise guests to have insurance cover.

We do allow well behaved pets to stay in Stable Cottage.

How to make a booking

To secure your booking and avoid disappointment we would ask guests to send a deposit of £30.00 per room by cheque.

Bed and Breakfast at Stable Cottage
Ideal for members of the same party this option offers total privacy and is furnished to a very high standard

Rates £85.00 per person per night to include a very special Cornish breakfast including speciality cheese and ham, and homemade banana and prune loaf.

Both bedrooms are centrally heated and provided with a hospitality tea, hot chocolate and coffee tray, jumbo fluffy bath towels, radio alarm clock, hairdryer,and mineral water.

The bathroom has the choice of a bath with telephone taps and shower or a separate shower cubicle area and a small selection of bathtime treats for guests to use

Double bedroom with Kingsize bed and antique washbasin and French Armoire Provencal (If required this bedroom can accommodate a Z bed for a third person)
Twin bedroom with two single beds and antique washbasin

Colour television and a DVD player are provided for guests to watch in the sitting room as well as a small selection of books.

Our house is open to guests twelve
months of the year.

Cornwall benefits from mild winters encouraging many visitors to consider an
'out of season break'.

It is worth noting that The Eden Project,
many of Cornwall's gardens, historic houses, and other attractions are also open throughout the year.

Special Occasions
Perhaps you are celebrating a birthday,Valentine's day, anniversary, memorable date, a romantic break,or some other special occasion.We can organize those extra touches that make your stay even more special. Seasonal tied bunches of flowers, champagne, basket of speciality fruit, gift wrapped hand made Cornish chocolates, and hand made in Cornwall celebration cakes are all available.
