No smoking in the house please

 

A booking is only confirmed once we have received a deposit. We will then send you confirmation by email(we are not responsible if for any reason you do not receive the confirmation email). A provisional reservation will be held for 3 days and if we have not received a deposit within this time the reservation will lapse.

A deposit/ payment can be paid by Cheque ,BACS transfer or Paypal. Sorry we do not accept credit cards.

If a booking is made 8 weeks or more before the start date of a holiday a deposit of £1000 is payable. This includes a damage deposit of £250 which will be returned after checking the house within ten days of the departure date providing there is no evidence of any damage, breakages, losses or soiling. If your holiday begins less than 8 weeks from the time of booking the full rent is payable. If the balance is not received by the due date, as set out in the booking confirmation email then guests will lose their booking and the deposit will be forfeit. We are dog owners ourselves and wish to keep Ballaminers House as a dog friendly holiday home .Dogs are accepted on the condition that they are restricted to the kitchen and breakfast room in the house. Dogs are not permitted beyond these two rooms  but of course can enjoy the garden . We would also like to make a point that dog owners are requested to ' pick up' their dog poo in the garden please.We kindly ask guests to leave the house clean and tidy before departure. Cancellation

In the event of cancellation less than 8 weeks before a holiday begins the total rental is payable unless we succeed in re- letting. With more than 8 weeks notice only the deposit will be forfeit.
Cancellation Insurance – traditionally people have not taken out insurance in the UK but it is strongly recommended that you do.
